Before commencing practice as a genealogist I was a solicitor for thirty seven years, working in the fields of property, family, contested probate, crime, and litigation.
I am still on the Roll of Solicitors in a non practising capacity.
As a genealogist acting through professional advisors, usually solicitors, I bring my experience and expertise to assist by preparing reports and advising in particular in relation to:-
- Probate and Inheritance disputes where an inheritance depends on a relationship being established.
- The estates of persons dying intestate where relationships need to be established to distribute the estate.
- Acting as an expert witness where a relationship needs to be established in legal proceedings.
